On 18 May 2023 Mas Miró will join the celebration day by opening its doors free of charge to visitors, during the opening hours from 10:00h to 14:00h and from 15:30h to 18:00h.
At 11am on 18 May there will be a guided tour with the director, Elena Juncosa Vecchierini (by prior reservation).
For this edition, ICOM proposes to celebrate International Museum Day under the slogan “Museums, sustainability and well-being“. Museums make a fundamental contribution to the well-being and development of communities. As trusted institutions and important threads in our social fabric, they are in a unique position to create a cascading effect that fosters positive change. Museums can contribute in many ways to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals: from supporting climate action and promoting inclusion, to tackling social isolation and improving mental health.
