At Mas Miró we offer you the opportunity to visit the farmhouse in private groups, from Tuesday to Sunday during our opening hours.
Theatralised Visit
Visit Mas Miró accompanied by the tenant farmer. Not only will she show you all the corners and details of Mas Miró, but she will also explain to you what role the women of Mas Miró played in and the evolution of the female image in Miró’s work.
This year, on the occasion of the centenary of the Masia painting, the dramatised visit will be a little bit special. We have asked the masovera to explain some more secrets specifically related to the execution of the painting. He will tell us details of a certain Hemingway and how Miró had a small piece of Mont-rojo sent to Paris to finish the painting.
The dramatised visit is available in Catalan and Spanish.

Accompanied by a guide you will discover all the corners of Mas Miró, the farm where Joan Miró spent almost all the summers of his life and where he conceived all of his art-work. The farm, wine cellar, chapel, workshop… a unique and inspiring space.
