The garden, which lies in front of the main building, still conserves some of its vegetation, including majestic eucalyptus trees. Joan Miró often took advantage of the gazebo to paint, thanks to the tranquillity and shade of this unique spot.
[/et_pb_text][/et_pb_column][et_pb_column type=”2_5″ _builder_version=”4.14.5″ _module_preset=”default” display_conditions=”W10=” global_colors_info=”{}”][et_pb_image src=”https://masmiro.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/El-jardi.jpg” title_text=”The garden” _builder_version=”4.14.7″ _module_preset=”default” display_conditions=”W10=” global_colors_info=”{}”][/et_pb_image][/et_pb_column][/et_pb_row][/et_pb_section][et_pb_section fb_built=”1″ admin_label=”About” _builder_version=”4.14.7″ background_color=”#d9d1ca” display_conditions=”W10=” custom_margin=”2px|||||” custom_padding=”0px||0px|||” scroll_horizontal_motion=”0|50|50|100|8|0|0″ motion_trigger_start=”top” global_colors_info=”{}”][et_pb_row column_structure=”2_5,3_5″ _builder_version=”4.14.5″ _module_preset=”default” display_conditions=”W10=” custom_padding=”70px||70px|||” global_colors_info=”{}”][et_pb_column type=”2_5″ _builder_version=”4.14.5″ _module_preset=”default” display_conditions=”W10=” global_colors_info=”{}”][et_pb_image src=”https://masmiro.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/El-taller.jpg” title_text=”The studio” _builder_version=”4.14.7″ _module_preset=”default” display_conditions=”W10=” global_colors_info=”{}”][/et_pb_image][/et_pb_column][et_pb_column type=”3_5″ _builder_version=”4.14.5″ _module_preset=”default” display_conditions=”W10=” global_colors_info=”{}”][et_pb_text _builder_version=”4.14.5″ header_2_font=”Work Sans||||||||” header_2_font_size=”46px” header_2_letter_spacing=”-1px” header_2_line_height=”1.1em” max_width=”1080px” module_alignment=”center” display_conditions=”W10=” custom_margin=”1px||-2px|||” header_2_font_size_tablet=”36px” header_2_font_size_phone=”24px” header_2_font_size_last_edited=”on|phone” locked=”off” global_colors_info=”{}”]

The workshop or studio stands just a few metres from the farmhouse. In this separate building, Joan Miró could devote himself to creating and working on projects. Built in the late 1940s, it was designed by the artist himself so that he could make sculptures there.

Various objects that were used by the artist can still be found there, such as utensils, sketches, materials and other miscellaneous items. On the walls, some graffiti can be seen, painted by Miró to develop his ideas.
[/et_pb_text][/et_pb_column][/et_pb_row][/et_pb_section][et_pb_section fb_built=”1″ admin_label=”About” _builder_version=”4.14.6″ background_enable_color=”off” display_conditions=”W10=” custom_margin=”2px|||||” custom_padding=”0px||0px|||” scroll_horizontal_motion=”0|50|50|100|8|0|0″ motion_trigger_start=”top” global_colors_info=”{}”][et_pb_row column_structure=”3_5,2_5″ _builder_version=”4.14.5″ _module_preset=”default” display_conditions=”W10=” custom_padding=”70px||70px|||” global_colors_info=”{}”][et_pb_column type=”3_5″ _builder_version=”4.14.5″ _module_preset=”default” display_conditions=”W10=” global_colors_info=”{}”][et_pb_text _builder_version=”4.14.5″ header_2_font=”Work Sans||||||||” header_2_font_size=”46px” header_2_letter_spacing=”-1px” header_2_line_height=”1.1em” max_width=”1080px” module_alignment=”center” display_conditions=”W10=” custom_margin=”1px||-2px|||” header_2_font_size_tablet=”36px” header_2_font_size_phone=”24px” header_2_font_size_last_edited=”on|phone” locked=”off” global_colors_info=”{}”]

The fields that surround Mas Miró are now sown with organic produce grown by a local firm. On the land that belongs to the estate, an attempt has been made to reflect the different plants that were grown on the farm during its long history. The neo-gothic chapel, built in 1916 and commissioned by Joan Miró’s father, stands next to the carriage entrance.
